Lauren Cain started Elm Dirt in 2020 as a way to remove synthetic fertilizer from her own backyard for the safety of her children and pets. Elm Dirt products have now been shown to help drought, increase root growth and decrease fertilizer run off in addition to being a replacement or supplement to traditional fertilizer, soil conditioners, fungicide agents, and more.
