About Us
Longview Cemetery has been serving families of South Kansas City since 1964. Longview Funeral Home opened its doors in 1986, on the grounds of Longview Cemetery. Today, we continue to provide families with quality, compassionate care, and this unique funeral home/cemetery combination offers the convenience of making all arrangements from one central location.
At Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery, we offer complete funeral services and burial options in a unique and tranquil setting. The funeral home, which encompasses 3,000 square feet, is nestled on a hillside overlooking Longview Lake and is bordered by tree-filled parks, providing a comforting atmosphere for bereaved families. The chapel seats 200 people, and there are two arrangement rooms and two visitation rooms. Our cemetery features a variety of interment options including traditional ground burial, lawn crypts and special columbarium niches for cremated remains. Ample parking is available to accommodate guests.
